Dominic is an accountant and finance officer with over 25 years’ experience working in the alternative investment sector. Dominic serves as the chief financial officer of the CD Capital Group of companies, including some of the portfolio companies, and works to ensure financial compliance with the regulating authorities.

After a 20-year investment banking career focused on the resources sectors, Darren spent a decade at the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) as CFO and then as President & CEO. Ma’aden is the largest mining company in the Middle East: Darren played instrumental roles in the company’s first M&A transactions and in overseeing successful implementation of its largest gold and phosphate projects. In addition to his role as our Operating Partner, Middle East, Darren is currently a Senior Advisor to the Minister of Investment, Saudi Arabia.

Jim is a multi-industry CEO and President with success in startup, growth, merger, and turnaround situations. Located in Miami, Jim is general manager for the Los Calatos copper project, where he is responsible for engineering, permitting, financing, and organizing operations on the ground.

Peter is an internationally renowned metallurgist with 40 years of experience in the metals and mining industry. Over the course of his career, Peter has worked on a range of operations across six continents, focusing on increasing mine and concentrator productivity. Peter previously worked for Ma’aden, where he led the 380ktpa Rolling Mill Project from the required technical studies through to final close in 2010. He also directed Feasibility Studies for two additional mega-projects at Ma’aden: a copper smelter and a zinc refinery. Alongside his work supporting processing operations at CD Capital, Peter practices as a Consulting Metallurgist for operations globally.

Sara-Jo recently joined the CD Capital team to assist with the IR function for the group. Sara-Jo has over 12 years’ experience working in capital raising and investor relations across a variety of asset classes and previously spent eight years working with another metals & mining private equity group based in London: AMED Funds. Prior to that, she worked within the placement arm of Oakley Capital, raising capital from a wide range of institutional investors for third party managers. At CD Capital, she is responsible for the ongoing investor relations activities.

Emin is a Mining Engineer and has over 30 years’ investment banking experience in natural resources, commodity markets, project financing, trading, and project development. At CD Capital, Emin focuses on project value engineering, financing, and preparing for exits. 
He has been key in the development of Suhanko Arctic Platinum and positioning it as a fully electrified Mine of the Future.

Olivia has over six years’ experience within the natural resources sector, having previously worked as a Metals & Mining IB Associate for the Bank of Montreal. At CD Capital, she provides both technical and financial input for project development and serves as a director of one of the portfolio companies.

Simon has over 15 years’ experience within the natural resources industry, with an extensive background in mining operations as a geologist in Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. At CD Capital, he covers both technical and financial areas of current and prospective investments.

Bogdana joined the CD Capital team as part of our sponsored geologist internship program after graduating with a Masters in Earth and Planetary Science from Imperial College London. In addition to conducting deal flow analysis, she focuses on ESG and assists with producing our annual sustainability report.

Josh joined the CD Capital team as an analyst after graduating from Imperial College London where he was awarded the ESE Future Leader in Industry prize. He works on identifying deal flow opportunities through computer modeling and conducts research to support the team.
